Opinel Kitchen Knives Savoie, France
Last fall Opinel introduced two new lines of kitchens and they are now available in the U.S.A.
|
The Opinel Intempora Kitchen Knives have a "POM" handle for a slip free grip. They are dishwasher safe for fast and easy cleanup.
The blades are made from Sandvik 12C27 MOD Stainless Steel. All Opinel stainless steel blades are modified by
adding at least 0.40% of carbon. The extra carbon help give them a good cutting edge.
|
The Opinel Classic Kitchen Knives have natural Beechwood handles and are dishwasher safe. The blades of the Classic line use the same
Sandvik 12C27 MOD Stainless Steel as the Opinel Intempora Kitchen Knives.

Michigan Maple Block Petoskey, Michigan
Michigan Maple Block, located in the heart of hard maple country, is one of the largest and oldest
manufacturers of cutting board products in the nation. The success and renown of its butcher blocks
and cutting boards is in large part due to its history of continuous operation, by one family, for
nearly all of its 100 years in Petoskey, Michigan.
Butcher blocks, cutting boards, carving boards and chopping blocks are a great addition to any
kitchen. Not only are they beautiful but they are the safest cutting board on the market. They
are all NSF certified, They do not allow "knife skip" like glass, plexi-glass or granite. They
do not harbor bacteria like white poly cutting boards and they have the mass to stay put as work on them.
Pound for pound these are the best boards you can buy at any price.
